These mouldings clips are designed to replace the OEM units which break or get damaged when the windshield, targa and body mouldings that run on the side of the windshield and roof areas are removed. Common when your car get painted to worked on as the originals can get a bit stuck and if you don’t know how to remove them, breakage is common.
The originals can be purchased but it’s often at a significant waiting time and cost as they charge per clip.
I developed this design for my own 300zx following this issue and being expected to wait months for these.
This set is designed so that the mouldings sit slightly closer to the bodywork and thus improve the appearance a little if you care for the detail. Perfectly functional and supplied as a set of 6 in total. 3x for the right and 3x for the left of the car. 1 is used for the windshield moulding and 2 are needed for the small moulding/trim that runs from the end of the targa to the start of the bottled/tailgate.
They simply slide and click into place and hold firm.
