300zx Parts Are Becoming Harder to Source. Until Now….
Whilst the Z32 platform has a strong following, it tends to be in the shadow of its cousins (namely the R32 to R33 skyline and also the Silvias). Many parts are interchangeable between these platforms but on the whole, 300zx Z32 parts are becoming more difficult to obtain for two key reasons.
1. Numbers of these cars are decreasing as more and more are parted out and destroyed which means less profits for parts retailers resulting from lower sales volumes.
2. The prices for 300zx cars have not rocketed in the same way that the skylines have following the US following as well as the Silvias inline with their popularity for drifting. Higher margins can be had selling parts for the Skylines and Silvias in line with their higher used values meaning the 300zx Z32 has seen little love in terms of parts and development.
